The group began in a small bedroom converted to a photographic studio where friends met to pool their knowledge of computer digital imaging, learn from each other and improve their skills.
Gradually, more friends from the local Photographic Club joined them until the group became too large for the room and they had to hire a venue for their meetings.
Since then the group membership has grown to 32 and we now meet at MANOR COURT, GUN LANE, LOWESTOFT,NR32 1LA at 7.30 pm on the SECOND FRIDAY and LAST TUESDAY in each month. Membership is open to all who are interested in photography and digital imaging and there is no annual fee or subscription.
A small charge is made for attendance on each evening so that members pay only for the attendances they make.
Refreshments are available and the informal social element of the meeting when people mingle and chat is regarded as being very important. |
